One of our regular marketing agency clients sent us some very creative artwork for their clients hair salon, Rokstar.
They requested transparent window graphics printed on a clear self adhesive vinyl with part of the artwork on a white background to make the image pop. The logo design was also computer cut vinyl in rose gold.
Choosing the right signage solution
We had to take very precise measurements as the client wanted the artwork installed over the mullions.
To make the lady’s face on the artwork pop, we cut the white vinyl to shape and install it from the other side of the window.
The sign production process
To make sure the printed window graphics artwork precisely lined up in the window panels and mullions required some serious pre-press work.
We found the rose gold vinyl in one of our supplier’s range, which was a brand new product and the perfect match! Cutting the ROKSTAR vinyl letters also required precision as the metallic colour finish made the material very rigid.
We also traced the face of the lady on the artwork to create the cutting path. Then we cut the white self adhesive vinyl sticker to the right shape.
The sign installation process
We installed the window graphics very carefully as the alignment had to be perfect.
After applying the clear self adhesive vinyl print to the glass, we placed the rose gold vinyl letters on the windows and the mullions. Finally the white background was put in place from the other side of the glass and the eye catching image was created.
Some vinyl lettering to go
The shopfront signage was pretty much complete… although we may need to come back next week to install some additional window lettering on the shopfront, as the client has been nominated for a hair award and if they win they would like to advertise their award on the front door. We wish them all the best!
