With a luxurious waterfront apartment development underway in Burleigh, our Client had envisioned a new approach on interior and exterior signage which included hoarding advertisements and sales display signs.
We built and rendered hoarding to make it look like a rendered wall and added 3D acrylic lettering and printed pictures on the wall. The scope also consisted of very high resolution printed acrylic wall pictures with custom made frames and a variety of additional point of sales signs, such as flags, A-frames, directional signs, etc.
The Development Signage Consultation & Site Inspection
It was a challenging project due to the site conditions but we delivered the best results according to the Client brief. The ground wasn’t level and there were services underground, but there is nothing that can’t be solved with a little bit of creativity and thinking outside the box. We also took measurements of the walls in the Sales Display on Level 8 to determine the number and size of the prints required.
Design, Signage Production & Installation
The Client provided the high resolution renders of the buildings exterior and interior spaces and we needed to design the layout of the pictures. Once the artworks were approved, we reverse printed the renders on self adhesive vinyl and mounted them on clear acrylic sheets. Finally we framed them with white custom made frame mouldings. To meet the usual very tight deadlines, we have our in-house framing equipment to speed up the process.
In the meantime our construction team were working on the hoarding structure.
The day of the installation was the day before the launch date. Two sign installation teams were working simultaneously to deliver all signage in a short time frame.
The first team were installing the framed acrylic signs and the balcony vinyl banners on Level 8 while the other team were working on the aluminium composite panel signs and 3D acrylic lettering on the hoarding. Our Joyprint Site Supervisor was running up and down all day to make sure everything was delivered and installed according to the plan.
After a long day we left the Sales Display at 9 pm with handover complete.
On the launch day a groundbreaking 25 of the 33 luxury apartments were sold on the first day, resulting in a total success that even made national news headlines!
