The KOOKAI retail store in Fortitude Valley was moving to a new premises and required shop front signage.
As the construction work was underway, they needed window stickers on the shop front to block the view from pedestrians.
On receiving the artwork, our female colleagues were pretty excited about this project as KOOKAI is one of their favourite brands! 🙂
The signage request
The signage brief was pretty straight forward: we needed to print and install self adhesive vinyl sticker signs on the windows blocking any view of what was happening inside.
Pre-press work and sign printing
The client needed our graphic design service, as they had every panel in one file, we had to slice them and set the right sizes to fit the windows.
We then printed the self adhesive vinyl stickers and mounted a matt UV protection laminate layer on them.
Installation of the shop window graphics
When we arrived to complete the signage installation of the window graphics, we needed to wear our PPE as the construction had not been finished. There were a few obstacles and there were two huge bins right at the shop front blocking access to the windows, but in no time the Site Manager and the Joyprint team resolved the situation.
Retail signage for privacy
Disguising construction work underway with shop front signage is a common request from retailers. It is an extremely effective way to catch the attention of potential buyers to let them know what’s coming and is highly visible by foot and road traffic.
Joyprint is always happy to deliver our signage printing and installation service to make a successful brand even more successful.
On a side note – At the time of Joyprint’s retail signage installation the temporary safety fence had not been removed so we couldn’t capture the best photos of the shop front on the day. Stay tuned for more photos coming soon!
