Our client asked us to produce something different this time, a green wall sign with their company logo cut out of an aluminium panel.
We also needed to provide highly detailed technical drawings including all the descriptions of the materials used for the shopping centre management to approval.
The signage brief
The client had requested a hardwood frame and an artificial green wall, but one that looked as real as possible. The material of the logo wasn’t specified and the client was open to suggestions. We recommended laser cut aluminium due to its durability and lightweight. We decided to use an outdoor computer cut vinyl sticker to colour the aluminium.
The production of the green wall sign
After laser cutting the sign, we welded the brackets onto the aluminium panel. We then applied the colour vinyl onto the sign face and constructed the timber members for fabrication on site.
The sign installation process
On arrival, our Joyprint vehicle was loaded full of greenery, but with a team of two we managed to install them on the wall in no time.
We then fixed the laser cut sign onto the surface, sitting within the greenery. It looked pretty cool how the leaves showed through the holes.
The hardwood sign also frame needed some love to make it weather proof, and there we had it – another beautiful sign produced!
